Can I use a purchase order?
Libraries and other institutional customers can place orders on our Alibris
for Libraries Web site with a purchase order. We will bill you when the
items ship. To use a P.O., make sure you initiate your order on
Alibris for Libraries, not on our retail site.

Where do I enter a P.O.?
You enter purchase order information during checkout. However, be sure to initiate your order on Alibris for Libraries, not on our retail site. If you've placed items in your Shopping Cart while on our retail site, click the Alibris for Libraries
link in the top-right corner. Once on the Alibris for
Libraries site, click the Cart link in the top-right corner.
Items added to your cart while on the retail site should still be your cart. You can then proceed through checkout via Alibris for Libraries and will be presented with purchase order fields. If

Can my purchasing department order by mail?
Select the books you want and add them to your Shopping Cart. Print these
pages. Go the bottom of the Shopping Cart, select all, and add these books
to your wishlist. Submit your order to your purchasing department, along
with a note requesting that they print a note on the purchase order indicating that
your books are in a wishlist associated with your e-mail address (and provide the address). This way, when we receive
the P.O., we can send the exact books you chose, if they are still available.

How do I open an account?
Setting up an account with us is easy. Click the Create an Account link on the left side of any Alibris for Libraries Web page, and then you'll be prompted to create your new account.

What is my order status?
To track the status of your order, click the Account link in the upper-right corner of any page on our Web site. If you're not already logged in, enter your e-mail address and password in the fields provided and then click the Log In button. Click the View Your Order History link to see a list of all of your orders with us. For orders already shipped via UPS, click the Alibris order number link to view UPS tracking numbers. The delivery timeframe for your order depends on where your items are coming from and where they are being shipped.

Can I update my account info?
You can change any information on your account, including your billing
and shipping addresses, your e-mail address, and your password. To do so, click the Account link in the upper-right corner of any Alibris for Libraries Web page,
log in, click the respective link for the information you would like to change, and update it accordingly.

Can I get a copy of an invoice?
To request a copy of an invoice, e-mail us at [email protected], or call us toll-free at 1-877 ALIBRIS (1-877-254-2747) and choose option 1.

Do shipments contain invoices?
Shipments don't normally contain invoices, but we can arrange that for you. E-mail us at [email protected], or call us toll-free at 1-877 ALIBRIS (1-877-254-2747) and choose option 1. Provide us with the e-mail address and customer code for the account you'll be using to order.

Products
Can I get more item info?
To find out more information about a specific item, click the title of the item while on the "Available Copies" page (the page you're on after you click a title on a "Search Results" page). If you still have specific questions
about the condition of an item, or to clarify the description, you can
click the Contact the Seller link to access an e-mail form
for asking the seller a question. Most sellers will
reply within a day or two. Alternatively, you can e-mail us at [email protected]; please include the item's Alibris ID in your e-mail.

Can I order multiple copies?
Each used item you find on our Web site is a single, unique copy. If you
want more than one copy of a particular item, scroll through the search
results for additional available copies. To get the specific copies you want, add
each item to your Shopping Cart and then place your order when you have
finished making your selections.
To buy more than one copy of a new book, add the new title to your Shopping Cart, enter the quantity in the quantity box, and click Update. If no quantity box appears beside the title, you must select individual copies.

How do I submit a want
list?
The Alibris Want List Matching System makes it easier than ever to tackle large want lists. Use the matching system for replacement projects, large lists of open orders, or other want lists.
Simply load your list and, within moments, you'll be able to view matches to your list based on your search parameters. Match on exact ISBN, or be more general with a title and author match. Plus you can limit your matches based on publisher, publication date, binding, or price.

Why do prices vary on your library and retail sites?
Prices on Alibris for Libraries may be higher than prices on the Alibris
retail site, to reflect the services offered by Alibris for Libraries.
Services include the processing of purchase orders and invoices, order consolidation,
free shipping within the United States for orders of ten or more items, toll-free customer service,
and want list management. Library services are not offered for items ordered
via the Alibris retail site.
