Shipping charges* are as follows:

Alaska and Hawaii
Library orders shipping within the United States are consolidated and sent via UPS Ground once a week. If you order multiple items from us, they may be shipped to you in several different packages. If you place multiple orders with us, you may receive packages that contain items from more than one order.

Shipping charges* are as follows:

U.S. protectorates and Puerto Rico
Library orders shipping to U.S. protectorates and Puerto Rico will be consolidated

If your order includes at least one item that costs $500 or more, your order is automatically shipped UPS International Air.

Shipping charges* are as follows:

APO/FPO addresses
Library orders shipping to APO/FPO addresses will not be consolidated. Orders for Army Post Office (APO) addresses will ship via the United States Postal Service to the Army Post Office depot. The military handles the delivery once the packages arrive at the designated AA, AE, or AP address, and from that point the delivery is subject to the military delivery schedules. Alibris will complete the necessary customs form for orders shipped to APO/FPO addresses.

Canada
Library orders destined for Canada will be consolidated if UPS International Air is chosen during checkout. They are shipped to you once all of your items have arrived in our warehouse. Canadian orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are assessed when the package reaches its destination and are then paid by the customer.

If your order includes at least one item that costs $500 or more, your order is automatically shipped UPS International Air.

International orders
Library orders shipping outside the United States (for Canada, see preceding section) will be consolidated if UPS International Air is chosen during checkout. They are shipped to you once all of your items have arrived in our warehouse. International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are assessed when the package reaches the country of destination and are then paid by the customer.

If your order includes at least one item that costs $500 or more, your order is automatically shipped UPS International Air.

* Orders for multi-volume sets, exceptionally large or heavy items, or ephemera are subject to additional shipping charges. Orders shipping to countries outside of the United Kingdom, European Union, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand may be charged additional shipping charges. We'll contact you for authorization if additional charges apply. International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are assessed when the package reaches the country of destination and are then paid by the customer.

Additional shipping charges may apply
When multi-volume sets, exceptionally large or heavy books, and/or ephemera are ordered, additional shipping charges may be assessed. If you are ordering such an item, we recommend contacting us beforehand to determine whether non-standard shipping charges will be applied to your order.

Expedited orders: shipping direct from the seller Rather than choosing Alibris's standard consolidated shipping service, during checkout, you may choose to have all of the items in your order shipped direct to you from the seller(s), which is usually faster than standard consolidated shipping. When choosing the direct-from-seller shipping option during checkout, all the items in your order will ship direct from the seller(s); no items in your order will be consolidated by Alibris.

To expedite your order, select the direct-from-seller shipping option and select "expedited shipping."

Also note that when selecting direct-from-seller shipping you may receive a packing slip from the seller with your order; this is not an invoice, so do not pay the seller. Alibris will send you an invoice separately.

Delivery times You'll receive items based on their availability. Items in our warehouse are listed with an availability of "Ships within 1 week." These items will ship from the warehouse within one week of your order date. Items from our seller network usually take two to three weeks to arrive in our warehouse. They then ship from the warehouse to you within one week of their arrival.

This process assures the quality of your purchase and allows us to consolidate your orders. We assume full responsibility for invoicing, shipping, and customer service, so you have lower processing costs— and fewer hassles— because you're working with just one vendor.

Each time an item ships from our warehouse to you, you'll receive an e-mail notification. Alternatively, you can monitor your account online to see when titles have shipped; simply click the Account link in the upper-right corner

Order status To track the status of your order, click the Account link in the upper-right corner of any page on our Web site. If you're not already logged in, enter your e-mail address and password in the fields provided and then click the Log In button. Click the View Your Order History link to see a list of all of your orders with us. For orders already shipped via UPS, click the Alibris order number link to view UPS tracking numbers. The delivery timeframe for your order depends on where your items are coming from and where they are being shipped (see preceding section).
