Use it … don't lose it! Request your deposit account

If you're still in the fortunate use-it-or-lose-it situation with leftover funds at the end of the fiscal year, we can arrange for deposit accounts against which you may debit future orders. Some institutions prefer the convenience and cost-savings of cutting one relatively large check over paying relatively small invoices throughout the year.

Deposit accounts start as low as $2,000. Just send us an e-mail with how much you'd like to put on deposit, and we'll issue you a pro forma invoice accordingly.

New advanced search option saves you time

Now you can customize your search to exclude ex-library copies from your results set. Simply start your search on the Advanced Search page on the Alibris for Libraries site, and check the exclude Ex-library box. Or you can filter out ex-library copies from the filter bar after you see your results.

Customize your advanced search options

Even better, we've taken the liberty of always excluding Advanced Reading Copies (ARCs) and international editions as the default setting on your Alibris for Libraries searches. Hopefully, both of these features will lessen the time you need to carefully read seller descriptions. Please let us know if you have any questions or feedback about these enhancements.

Continue to receive great service in the eastern U.S.

After 11 great years, Bill Kane has left Alibris for greener pastures. While we will all miss his library knowledge and his great sense of humor, you are still in good hands, as Shelly Stuard and Renee Chastain will be handling his eastern territory. Check out the new territories to see who will be managing your account. As always, for any customer service issue, please contact us at [email protected] or call us at 1-877-ALIBRIS (254-2747) option 1.

Alibris Tip: Wishlists—a great tool for ordering and sharing

If you're looking to improve ordering efficiency, or waiting for a new budget, creating a wishlist of titles to purchase can be a great time-saver. Assemble a wishlist and when you're ready to make a purchase you won't have to search again. Or have selectors build wishlists of desired titles and send them to acquisitions.
