Save time with our new shopping cart feature
Books added to your shopping cart on the Alibris for Libraries site are secure and cannot be purchased by another Alibris customer for the first 24 hours. After that, they're fair game—they'll remain in your cart, but other customers are able to purchase them. Previously, if that happened, the item was removed from your cart and there was no record of the title you needed. Now, when you access your shopping cart after 24 hours, you will see both the original copies that you selected, and for copies bought by other customers, you'll see the title, author, ISBN and original price of your original choice. Simply click the "Find another copy" button to easily search for a replacement copy. We hope this new feature will be a great time saver for libraries who build large carts but need extra time before they can place their order. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Fill out-of-stock orders before the end of your fiscal year
As many of you approach the end of your fiscal year, consider using Alibris for Libraries to fill open orders you've been waiting on from other vendors. We have millions of new and used titles in-stock in our warehouse and from our network of over 20,000 sellers. Simply search the Alibris for Libraries site for availability. Or send us a Want List of desired titles and we'll send you back the results. We can even do the ordering for you.

Use it...don't lose it! Request your deposit account
If you're still in the fortunate use-it or lose-it situation with leftover funds at the end of the fiscal year, we can arrange for deposit accounts which you can use for future orders. Some institutions prefer the convenience and cost-savings of cutting one relatively large check versus paying relatively small invoices throughout the year.
Deposit accounts start as low as $2000. Just send us an email with how much you'd like to put on deposit, and we'll issue you a pro forma invoice.
