Introducing YBP Marketplace
We are very pleased to announce a new service available through our partnership with YBP Library Services. YBP Marketplace allows libraries to locate and acquire their own copies of out-of-print and out-of-stock books through GOBI3, YBP's acquisition and collection development interface. You will be able to see, in real time, current stock and condition information for hard-to-find titles, and easily select the copy that fits your needs. Titles ordered through YBP Marketplace are invoiced by YBP and shipped from Alibris.
Your library benefits from:
- Convenience. With a single click, access all of the available copies of the title you need from more than 14,000 Alibris online independent booksellers.
- Quality Content. Acquire titles from booksellers with four and five star reliability ratings.
- Improved Workflow Efficiencies. If you currently purchase titles through GOBI3, integrate within your existing GOBI3 workflow.
- Reliable Data. Receive any necessary metadata, including acquisitions details, cataloging records and electronic invoices.
- Duplication Control. Prevent e-book or print duplicates from being accidentally acquired.

End of Fiscal Year? Use it...don't lose it!
If you're still in the fortunate use-it or lose-it situation with leftover funds at the end of the fiscal year, we can arrange for deposit accounts which you can use for future orders. Some institutions prefer the convenience and cost-savings of cutting one relatively large check versus paying relatively small invoices throughout the year.
Deposit accounts start as low as $2,000. Just send us an e-mail with how much you'd like to put on deposit, and we'll issue you a pro forma invoice.
Visit Alibris at ACRL
Stop by and visit us in booth 309 if you'll be attending the ACRL Conference, in Indianapolis, April 10-13. We will be happy to demo the latest and greatest from Alibris for Libraries, as well as our new service with YBP. TIP: Invoice in the box
Keep in mind that if you'd like for us to include a copy of the invoice with the books, all you need do is ask-just include your account number or account e-mail with your request, making it even more efficient for your library to receive materials from Alibris for Libraries. Invoice in the box is not available for domestic direct-from-seller orders or non-UPS international orders.
